For those who don't know, Colin has a rare genetic visual disorder called Achromatopsia. The condition causes extreme light sensitivity, and prevents Colin from seeing color and detail. Consequently, the reality of her sight is a major part of her life, and many of her songs allude to the physical and social effects from being an achromat.
